Apple announced the release of seven new products on Friday, September 10: the iPhone 11, 11 Pro Max and 11 Pro, along with the Apple Watch Series 5, iPad Air, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade. The new iPhone 11 Pro Max, their flagship phone, is packed with new features.

The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, released September 20, are Apple’s first iPhones that contain the A13 Bionic chip. They also have three cameras: Telephoto, Wide, and Ultra Wide. The new iPhones will be available in a brand-new color, Midnight Green.

Recently, Apple has been under fire for their high prices, and on Friday, they announced a shift in their prices. The most expensive phone, the iPhone 11 Pro Max, has a base price of $1099, and the lowest priced iPhone, the iPhone 11, starts at $699.

Compared to last year’s prices, they are significantly lower.

Apple experienced a boost of popularity as their stock jumped by 10 dollars after the keynote.

In addition to the new iPhones, Apple also released a brand new type of streaming service, the Apple Arcade. For $4.99 a month, consumers can have access to over a hundred new games, with access for up to six family members, across all of your devices. The subscription is an all you can play format, so you can play for as long as you want. The subscription starts this fall.

While the iPhone is readily available for order, we have yet to see how consumers will react.
