Both JV and Varsity volleyball teams left classes early Wednesday afternoon to take on Eastside Preparatory School in their first league game. The hour and half drive north to Kirkland allowed time for the players to get pumped.

This was Annie Wright’s first time playing Eastside Prep’s new gym, and that only added to the excitement.

JV played first at 4:30, and Varsity followed after, playing at 6:00. Both teams showed their spirit and effort, resulting in a 2-1 win for JV, and a 3-0 win for Varsity.

The victories gave enthusiasm and hope for the next home game on Friday, September 25^th, and the rest of the upcoming season.
