For those looking get scared, these local haunted houses are sure to do the trick. The location and dates are listed below for each location. For more spooky experiences, check out Inkwell’s October 28 print issue.

 

Frighthouse Station– Tacoma

Frighthouse station provides options for those looking for a thrilling experience and those looking for a warm place to hangout. It is located in Tacoma and costs $17 for tickets purchased in-person and $15 for online. It is open from 7:00pm-10:00pm on Thursdays, and 7:00pm-11:30pm on Saturdays. It is open October 10-12, 17-19, 24-26, 31, and November 1-2. 

 

My Morbid Mind–  Lacey

My Morbid Mind similarly has experiences for kids and those who don’t like to be scared. It is open October 11-12, 18-19, 24-27, and the 29-31 from either 7:00pm-11:00pm, 7:00pm-10:00pm or 7:00-9:30pm, depending on the night. The price varies from $11 to $17 depending on the night. On October 26 and October 31 there is a “lights on, no scaring” portion for kids from 5:00pm- 6:30pm. If you live in Tacoma, this haunted house is a bit of a drive, but it will definitely be worth it.

 

Cinema Of Horrors– Kelso

Cinema Of Horrors was “Voted #2 Must See Haunted House in all of Washington State in 2018” according to the official website. It is open October 4-5, 11-12, 18-20, 25-27, the 31, and November 1-2, Friday through Saturday from 7:00pm-11:00pm, and Sunday through Thursday from 7:00pm-9:30pm. General Admission is $15, and kids under 12 are $12.
