Congratulations to Bailey Black in taking 1st place in the annual Upper School Poetry Out Loud competition, held in the Kemper Theater today. Black will advance on to the Puget Sound regional competition and the two winners of that will advance on to the State competition.

Seven students: Bailey Black, Julia Henning, Gabi Kreiger, Iris Li, Jennifer Wang, Maya Reiter, and Nina Ye, recited two poems prepared each.
