Saya Tanaka caught the attention of many of her peers with her beautiful piano playing in Mr. Orr’s music class. She joined the Annie Wright community this September, coming all the way from Japan. She has been playing piano since she was only 2 years old, in addition to playing the trumpet in elementary school. She is currently living with a host family about 15 minutes away from school and will be staying in Tacoma for one year.  Check out her piano and trumpet playing down below.
