Global Politics and Environmental Systems and Societies teacher Tyler Burns is the first Annie Wright faculty member to sport a man bun. Burns shared the details about his hairstyle with Inkwell.

Inkwell: What is your hair care routine?
Burns: I wash my hair once or twice a week. Shampoo and conditioner.

Inkwell: How long have you had the man bun?
Burns: The man bun has been around for about three years.

Inkwell: How did you decide to grow it?
Burns: I’ve always grown my hair out to half length and got frustrated with it and chopped it off. I was living in Maui and decided it was a great time to just not worry about the half cut and messiness of the in between and decided to grow it out in Maui.

Inkwell: How often do you get your hair cut?
Burns: Not enough.

Inkwell: If you didn’t have a man bun, out of all the faculty whose hairstyle would you chose?
Burns: Jeff Barber.
