Annie Wright field nears long awaited completion

With the wettest winter since records began in 1895, construction for the new Annie Wright field has faced a few setbacks. The end, however, is finally in sight. By Monday, the turf should be fully functional and only the fencing, netting and landscaping will remain to complete the project.

Construction began in August 2016 and was scheduled to be completed by November. The turf field is replacing the previous non-regulation sized grass field. In recent Upper School soccer seasons, the team had to travel to play home games at the Washington Premier Fields in Puyallup.

On May 31 at 4:30, the annual Powderpuff Football match against Charles Wright girls will take place on the new field.
